Do you have a wealth of experience working with Solidworks and the design of Tooling in a machining/fabrication environment? If so, then please read on!

The basics:

  • Location: Redditch
  • Salary: Up to £47,240 DOE
  • Hours: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm), Fridays (7.30am to 12.30pm) - 39 hours per week

Overview:

We now require an additional Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. Working in modern purpose-built manufacturing facilities for a company that manufactures precision engineered components. You will be working in a first-class precision engineering environment that has processes such as machining, fabrication and a number of outsourced processes also. As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will be working in a technical role managing projects for the customer from start to finish.

The ideal candidate may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Knowledge of CAM software and CNC machining processes.
  • Previous experience working with Solidworks.

Commutable from: Redditch, Alcester, Worcester, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
