This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and fast-growing engineering business that has heavily invested in its fabrication and manufacturing capabilities over recent years. Operating from a modern, purpose-built facility, the company delivers end-to-end services including fabrication, finishing, and assembly, supplying key sectors such as automotive, transportation, and industrial engineering.
As an Internal Account Manager, you'll take ownership of managing and developing key customer accounts, with a focus on both retaining existing business and generating new opportunities through proactive outreach and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of existing customer relationships
- Reactivate lapsed or lost accounts and generate new leads
- Provide quotes, process sales orders, and maintain CRM records
- Work closely with production and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in internal sales or account management, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or fabrication but other sectors will be considered.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a drive to grow accounts and close new business
- Good IT and CRM system knowledge
- Any knowledge of metalwork, or automotive supply chains is a plus
- Salary: Β£28,000 to Β£32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
