Do you have purchasing/buyer and MRP experience? We're recruiting for a Buyer in Bournemouth, on a permanent, full time basis and would be keen to hear from you if you have:
- Previous experience in purchasing / buyer role ideally within a production business
- Experience of using MRP systems, purchasing and inventory control management
- A high attention to detail
- Good communication skills along with excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft and ideally Sage
In this busy and varied role you'll be:
- Identify purchasing requirements in line with the demand planning process
- Process purchase orders
- Expedite where required and track orders to ensure goods are delivered on time
- Analyse the stock control system and maintain accuracy of data on the MRP system
- Maintenance of stock codes and associated data in Sage
- Ensure that the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Works Orders are correct at all times
- Ensure that BOMs lists are constantly maintained and evolve in line with recent modifications or changes.
- Produce a monthly summary of the BOMs, providing explanation for any significant changes.
