The predicted salary is between 50000 - 78000 £ per year.
Temporary Revenue Accountant role for one of our key Wokingham clients, starting ASAP (ideally by mid-July). The role is for 4 months with a pay rate of £250 - £260 per day plus holiday pay. Free parking on site and close to rail and bus networks.
USGAAP experience is essential. Applicants may be Qualified by Experience, Part Qualified, or Qualified, but recent Revenue Accounting experience is most important.
The role will include:
- Revenue Accounting for the UK and European regions
- Reviewing Revenue Accounting entries to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Processing journals
- Responsible for Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Managing and analysing the organisation's revenue streams, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing accurate financial reports for the Finance Manager
- Ensuring revenue is recognised at the appropriate time and in accordance with accounting standards
- Preparing and reviewing revenue reports, including balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements
- Working with sales, project management, and other teams to ensure accurate revenue accounting and reporting
Skills required:
- Financial Analysis: Strong analytical skills to analyse revenue streams and identify trends
- Accounting Standards: In-depth knowledge of relevant accounting standards - USGAAP essential
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately record and report financial information
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to revenue recognition and reporting
Ideally, you will have recent experience of working on SAP or Oracle (or a similar system) and intermediate Excel skills.
