About the company:
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading luxury British client who has become renowned for extraordinary cars, innovative engineering and the highest quality craftsmanship.
Duties:
- Deliver automotive Lighting Functions and Associated Lighting Hardware to meet the requirements of the Project Description Brochure.
- Responsible for the specification, test, integration and validation to achieve the cost, weight, timing and quality targets for the project.
- Achieve engineering signoff lighting systems & functions within the project timing.
- Detailed knowledge of automotive lighting regulations and directives.
- Detailed knowledge of independent data interrogation CATIA V5.
- Detailed knowledge of product design using CATIA V5.
- Detailed knowledge of Project management and Supplier management control.
- Experience and understanding of automotive Lighting systems.
- Understands plastic mould capabilities and applies this in designs.
- Understands vehicle electrical architecture, function and integration.
- Understanding of complex plastic injection moulding tooling.
- Understanding of FuSi requirements.
- Understanding of optical design and the distribution of light.
Skills & Experience:
- Ability to communicate at various levels across the company in different forums.
- Design and development skills.
- Ability to influence colleagues within your area of responsibility.
- Understanding of financial limits within area of responsibility.
- Skills required by local area.
- German language preferable.
- Full Driving Licence.
