TEXO Recruitment are looking for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our external client based in Aberdeen OR Dundee.
Purpose
To ensure Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) compliance, promoting best practices and continuous improvement across all operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and advise on SHEQ matters across the group.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Develop and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures, and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations, reporting findings and recommending actions.
- Lead SHEQ inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
- Support ISO accreditations and manage external audit processes.
- Coordinate SHEQ events, campaigns, and supplier assessments.
- Liaise with external bodies and represent the company at industry events.
Requirements
Essential:
- NEBOSH Gen/Construction Cert, NCRQ, or NVQ Level 3 in OHS
- IOSH Technician Membership (or working towards)
- CSCS card
- UK driving licence
- SHEQ experience in construction/utilities
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and auditing
- Excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills
Desirable:
- ISO accreditation experience
- SMSTS (CITB)
- Quality auditing background
