We are currently working with a leading global Data Centre provider with a multibillion-pound portfolio. With continued investment and development growth across the EMEA region, they are looking for a Senior Bid Manager from a technical project or engineering background to join their London team.
Remuneration: £80,000 - £90,000 + benefits + bonus

The Role:
The Senior Bid Manager will join a proactive and dynamic customer solutions team and help coordinate and deliver customer technical Requests for Proposals (RFPs), making sure requirements are captured, assessed and responded to. Due to the expansion of the business and volume of work, they are looking for a proactive and hyper-organised individual with good stakeholder management to liaise with external clients and across the internal project management, design, engineering, operation, sales and facilities teams.
The successful Bid Manager will ideally have worked within the data centre or another critical environment sector to understand, assess and validate the technical detail of customer requests and be able to respond or understand where to gain the information from to respond effectively. The Bid Manager will have overall responsibility for project managing the technical RFPs, tracking progress, mitigating risk and facilitating continuous improvement and optimisation of the process.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Approximately 10 years’ experience in project/package management preferable within data centres or another mission critical/infrastructure environment
- Experience managing and optimising RFPs, tenders and bid proposals
- Understanding of technical specifications, engineering drawings and customer requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management experience working across cross-functional teams and departments in addition to good written skills to produce proposal documentation and bid responses
- Proficient in design tools such as BluBeam Revu preferable
- Exceptional communication skills, proactive and hyper-organised
