Role Overview: As the Digital Advertising Lead, you will be at the forefront of our digital advertising strategies, overseeing the planning, execution, and optimisation of high-impact digital campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of digital advertising platforms, a strategic mindset, and a creative approach to reaching and engaging audiences. You will be responsible for driving the performance of our clients' campaigns, leading a team, and ensuring that all digital advertising efforts align with the agency’s mission and client objectives.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Digital Advertising Strategy: Develop and lead comprehensive digital advertising strategies that drive results for our clients. This includes campaign planning, audience targeting, media buying, and budget management across various platforms including Google, Meta, X, and programmatic networks.
- Campaign Execution: Oversee the individuals executing digital advertising campaigns from start to finish. Ensure that campaigns are launched on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
- Performance Optimisation: Create strategies for A/B testing, audience segmentation, and message testing techniques to maximise campaign impact.
- Client Management: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their goals and provide regular updates on campaign performance. Offer strategic advice and recommendations to help clients achieve their objectives through digital advertising.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of digital advertising specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Train up more junior members of staff on best practice advertising techniques.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the content creation and design teams to develop compelling ad creatives that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement.
- Reporting and Analysis: Lead on the production of detailed reports on campaign performance, presenting insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders. Use data to tell a compelling story and demonstrate the value of digital advertising efforts.
- Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in digital advertising, ensuring that 411 Digital remains at the cutting edge of the industry. Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Travel: Travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and manage projects both domestically and internationally.
Experience:
- 5-7 years experience in digital advertising across Meta & Google is essential.
- Experience managing a small to mid-sized team is essential.
- Experience creating detailed ad reports is essential.
- Experience working with additional advertising channels (e.g. TikTok, X, Programmatic) is desirable.
- Experience working in a political or third sector/NGO space is desirable.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools (e.g. Tableau) is advantageous.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Out-of-the-box thinker with a strong sense of creativity.
- Knowledge of another language (e.g., German, Italian, French, Portuguese, Spanish, or Swedish) is helpful but not essential.
