Principal Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the product development lifecycle for Europe including researching new product ideas with the sales team, creating detailed term sheets, and working closely with cross-functional teams to issue, launch and grow products in Europe.
- Develop deep subject matter expertise on relevant crypto protocols and the broader digital asset ecosystem.
- Research potential product opportunities and produce data-driven business cases to inform prioritisation across the product pipeline.
- Design innovative digital asset-backed products that will gain traction and grow AUM in the evolving competitor landscape.
- Work closely with partners (blockchain foundations, asset managers, and other relevant counterparties) to identify and develop innovative product opportunities.
- Monitor product success and competitor movements to develop and prioritise the overall product pipeline for Europe with a focus on innovation, differentiation and growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, and Legal) to develop and execute the company’s product roadmap.
- Take ownership of key external relationships; venues/exchanges, market makers, index providers, execution agents, agent banks, data vendors etc.
- Drive and improve accessibility of products on trading platforms and venues as required, including the troubleshooting of any data dissemination and tradability issues, and expand access to Bitwise products across regions, investor types and counterparties.
- Work with market makers/liquidity providers and APs to gather feedback on the development and ensure support of new products and identify potential problems (e.g. liquidity, spreads).
- Constantly review existing and competitor product suites to improve composition and design.
- Be a partner to the Head of Europe in their dealings with business partners, acting as a subject matter expert on products and the product suite.
- Develop and work alongside necessary team members to distribute relevant reports that monitor products.
