Your new company

Hays are delighted to be working in partnership with a locally established manufacturing organisation based in Perth to support in the continued growth and development of their finance function. The requirement for a full time, permanent Finance Assistant with a strong foundation in daily transactional tasks with a willingness to expand their knowledge has become available.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be a proactive member of the small finance team to provide direct support to the Financial Controller with daily, weekly and monthly tasks including invoice processing, payment runs, accounts reconciliations as well as producing month end reports. This role will get exposure to intercompany accounting due to the different business units producing their own reports on a high volume basis.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you will be a dedicated finance professional who can demonstrate a strong working knowledge of core finance processes including ledger management, complex reconciliation handling and understanding how to analyse accounts during month end. This role will suit someone who is comfortable working in a small team environment, happy to be hands on with a variety of tasks relating to finance and will work well to strict deadlines.
