Our client is on the market for a competent Linux Engineer to work in their high-performing platform engineering team. This position involves managing and optimising Linux server systems, supporting low-latency trading and LLM servers whilst driving automation.
You’ll be working on the following:
- System Administration
- Automation and Configuration Management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to streamline and standardize operational workflows.
- CI/CD
- Performance Engineering: Tune Linux Systems and kernel parameters to support high-throughput, low-latency trading workloads.
- The troubleshooting and optimising of Data Centre Operations
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Linux Expertise: 5+ years
- Solid understanding of infrastructure networking fundamentals like VLAN configuration, IP addressing and their application in Linux environments
- Python & Bash scripting
- DevOps tooling
