Are you ready to lead and elevate health, safety, and environmental standards in a fast-growing, values-led food business? We're on the hunt for a passionate and proactive HSE Manager to join a rapidly growing food manufacturer in Kent.

This business is at the beginning of a huge growth trajectory, having acquired new businesses and relocating to a much larger site. This role will involve developing systems as well as enabling the site teams, providing you with the opportunity to make this role your own.

As the HSE Manager, you will:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain site-wide Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures
  • Drive a positive, safety-first culture across all teams — from production and warehousing to engineering and office staff
  • Lead risk assessments, audits, and investigations, ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance
  • Manage training programmes, toolbox talks, and inductions to build safety awareness
  • Support the site with environmental initiatives including waste reduction, energy usage, and sustainability targets
  • Act as the primary contact for regulators, insurers, and external auditors
