Full-time Hybrid working in Stroud HQ, circa ÂŁ40,000 - ÂŁ50,000 per annum dependent on experience and level of qualification. We are ideally looking for those with a quick start date allowing for a great handover. You will need to be local to HQ in Stroud; this role is mostly based in the Office.

The Role
The Financial Accountant at Invivo Clinical, a wholly owned UK subsidiary of Australian listed parent company Microba Life Sciences (ASX: MAP), plays a critical role in supporting financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and commercial insight across the business. This UK-based role suits a finance professional with strong technical expertise, operational discipline, and a desire to drive business performance through robust financial stewardship. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Financial Accountant will be hands-on across financial reporting, statutory compliance, systems development, business partnering, and process improvement. The position supports Invivo Clinical’s mission of advancing health through the science of the human microbiome and reflects Microba and Invivo’s commitment to excellence in financial management.

Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- 2+ years in a finance role with month-end ownership, ideally from audit background
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, VAT, PAYE, financial controls
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and month-end processes
Desirable
- Chartered (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified)
- Post-qualified with industry experience
- Life sciences, biotech or SME experience
- Previous work in an international group is desirable
- Hands-on experience with Odoo, Netsuite, Sage or similar ERP systems is beneficial
