About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Intervention Production Technician to join our offshore team, based in the Morecambe Bay assets. This is a critical role to ensure the safe and efficient operation of high-pressure gas production and utilities equipment while maintaining safety, environmental standards, and production schedules.
This position will play a key role in ensuring operational continuity and will include acting in place of the Intervention Offshore Installation Manager when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor high-pressure gas production/processing and utilities equipment in line with company procedures.
- Perform both on-plant and control room operations, ensuring optimum plant efficiency and product quality.
- Act as Mechanical Isolating Authority, applying and testing isolations according to company standards.
- Support the Production Team Lead with planning, preparation of permits to work, and maintenance planning.
- Undertake first-line maintenance tasks and report defects through the work-order system.
- Monitor and analyze plant performance data to maximize efficiency, with regular reporting and recommendations.
- Ensure the continuity of production capability by monitoring stock levels of chemicals, pigs, spares, and consumables.
- Develop and review operational procedures to maintain compliance with company and statutory requirements.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
Experience:
- Several years of offshore production experience within the Exploration & Production (E&P) industry.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Intervention-Specific Certifications:
- Helideck Emergency Response Team Member (HERTM) – Required.
- Offshore Emergency Response Team Member (OERTM) – Required.
- Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader (HERTL) – Preferred.
- Coxswain (Single/Twin Fall) – Preferred.
- Offshore First Aid – Preferred.
- Banksman – Preferred.
Other Certifications:
- Current, valid Offshore Survival, Offshore Medical, and MIST certifications.
