At Blue Arrow we are looking for reliable and proficient HGV Class 1 weekend Drivers to navigate to Midlands Hubs for our prestigious client. The work is generally straight trunk runs with occasional collections on the way to the Hubs.
Pay rates are as follows:
- Saturday: £21.89ph and £23.44ph OT after 8 hours
- Sunday: £24.44ph all hours
Start times vary from 13:45 to 19:30. Our client however has work all year round and will have very busy end to the year.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Complete pre departure vehicle checks
- Transport goods between planned sites and drops
- Complete paperwork and follow compliance
- Adhere to tachograph and working times rules
Qualifications
In order to process your application, you must have the following:
- HGV Class 1 entitlement
- CPC
- Digi tacho card
- 1+ Year experience
As well as having 1 year experience you must be able to demonstrate on your tacho that you have been driving regular within the last 12 months. We cannot accept more than 6 points or DR/DG/CD/DD/BA on a licence.
