We are currently recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established recycling business based just outside Colchester. This is a temp to perm opportunity offering long-term career prospects for the right candidate.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator with a background in the waste or aggregates sector. A counterbalance forklift licence is also required. You will be working as part of a team responsible for keeping the site running smoothly and efficiently.
Duties of the Loading Shovel Operator will include:
- Operating a loading shovel to move and load materials
- Loading bulker lorries, hoppers, shredders
- Site housekeeping and bay emptying
- Daily checks and maintenance on machinery
- Operating other machinery such as mini diggers and material handlers (if trained)
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:30
15 hours of overtime available per week
Pay Details:
£13.38 per hour basic rate
£20.08 per hour overtime
