Are you great at building rapport with people quickly? Would you like to use your excellent communication skills to make a difference? My client, an established charity based in the Stroud area is looking for a Part Time Fundraising Officer for an extremely varied role. Please note, you do not need experience of fundraising!

Working within the Marketing and Communications Team, you will be responsible for raising the profile of this charity by attending networking sessions, proactively targeting businesses in the local area, and working with the leadership team to bring in funds for this essential charity.

With support from the Senior Leadership team, you will build a fundraising strategy with clear goals and objectives and will record all information accurately and in a timely manner.

You will be working roughly 20 - 25 hours per week and some early morning and evening attendance at events will be expected.

To be successful for this role, you will first and foremost be a passionate people person who wants to make a difference. In addition, you will be very self-motivated and self-managed, as well as having excellent organisational skills and first-class administrative capabilities.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required to meet the criteria for this job. Please note the salary will be pro-rated for the part time hours.
