Are you an Automotive Project Engineer with a background in Body or Exterior Development, looking to join a leading Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer? Do you have a passion for future vehicle development? If so, Expleo have an opportunity for you. One of the world\’s largest automotive OEM\’s, is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer, to deliver Body and Exterior parts, to cost, quality and timing targets, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis. Duties of the Body & Exterior Engineer include:- * Automotive Body Part development * Manage design releases and revisions * Perform design reviews * Part cost performance management * BOM application * Root cause analysis Knowledge, Skills & Experience required for the Body & Exterior Engineer role:- * Ideally Degree Educated or equivalent industry experience * A background within the Automotive industry * Experience of working with BIW pressings and assembly, and trim parts * Understanding of applied regulations for body / exterior parts * Knowledge of datum concepts / geometrical tolerancing * Supplier Management * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages * Valid driving license To meet with current legislation, right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates are able to work within the UK, without sponsorship.
