Are you an electronics technician with hands-on experience in testing, diagnostics and repair? Do you enjoy solving problems and working with a wide variety of bespoke audio and electronics products?

We’re working with a well-established electronics manufacturer based in Poole that has been designing and delivering high-quality audio and communications components for over 50 years. As they continue to grow, they’re now looking for a skilled Test Technician to join their production team and take ownership of product testing, fault-finding, and ongoing improvement across a wide product range.

As Test Technician, you’ll benefit from:

  • Profit-related bonus (approx. £200/month)
  • 20 days holiday (rising to 23 after 1 year)
  • Stable, long-term role with development opportunities
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (No weekend working)

As Test Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Testing and inspecting manufactured and purchased products to specification
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out component-level repairs including PCB rework
  • Supporting prototype builds and developing test systems and fixtures
  • Maintaining production test equipment and performing routine minor maintenance
  • Writing and updating test procedures, schedules and calibration documentation
