A fantastic opportunity for a STEM Graduate or experienced Drone Pilot to work for a technology company developing cutting-edge imaging systems. Having grown rapidly, they are looking to bring on a Drone Pilot to work within their technical and customer support team. This team operates advanced drone systems in live customer environments, supports onboarding, and contributes to product development and testing. This role ideally suits an experienced drone pilot, or a recent Graduate who has a strong understanding of flight navigation and the mechanics that power a drone. They are happy to assist a graduate towards gaining their drone pilots license.

Location: Based in Cambridge (UK), with 50% travel to global client sites – must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and be in a personal position to freely travel.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + annual performance-based bonus + stock option plan + benefits package (including pension scheme and private health insurance).

Requirements for Drone Pilot Operator:

  • Ideally, you will have demonstrated experience operating drones, however, graduates with a strong understanding of flight navigation and the mechanics that power a drone are encouraged to apply.
  • Any familiarity with UAV mission planning software and data post-processing tools would be beneficial.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly grasp imaging systems and drone operations.
