Summary
We are recruiting for multiple experienced P-Way Engineers and Lead P-Way Engineers for a significant, 2-year rail project based in Suffolk. This is a key opportunity to join a long-term scheme, offering excellent day rates and stable work on a critical part of the UK's rail infrastructure. About the Role
As a core member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring all track and permanent way elements of the project are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest industry standards. The role demands detailed technical knowledge of P-Way, track geometry, and associated civil works.
As a Lead Engineer, you will take charge of engineering teams, manage packages of work, and act as a key technical authority on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct all on-site P-Way engineering activities, including track renewals, maintenance, and enhancement works.
- Ensure all works comply with Network Rail standards, company procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Manage the production and review of Work Package Plans (WPPs), Task Briefing Sheets (TBSs), and engineering designs.
