We’re looking for a skilled Project Manager to support the delivery of major nuclear infrastructure programmes in the UK. You will play a key role in managing complex, regulated projects ranging from nuclear new-build to decommissioning and infrastructure related.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level project manager or experienced assistant PM/project engineer ready to step up, especially if you’re looking to contribute to some of the most critical and high-profile programmes in the country.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of nuclear project workstreams, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality goals are met
- Manage project planning, cost control, risk, and change management processes
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders
- Administer NEC3/NEC4 contracts and ensure compliance with governance frameworks
- Oversee project reporting, earned value, and performance dashboards
- Promote and enforce high standards in health, safety, and quality throughout delivery
- Drive effective communication across all stakeholder groups
- Support continuous improvement and best practices in project delivery
- 3-8 years of experience in project management, ideally within nuclear or similar complex, regulated environments (e.g. utilities, energy, oil & gas, or large infrastructure)
- Strong skills in planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and cost control
- Experience with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts highly preferred
- Degree-qualified in engineering, construction, or related field
- Familiar with APM PMQ, PRINCE2, or PMP methodologies
- Calm, detail-oriented, and confident, managing cross-functional teams and external interfaces
- Be part of nationally critical programmes in the UK nuclear sector
