This role is territory specific to London and the South East of England. We have an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager to join a fast-paced Food & Drink Wholesale / Distribution business who are a leading player in the FMCG Wholesale sector. Supplying a comprehensive range of food and drink products to retailers, wholesalers, cash and carry and on-trade businesses, they are looking for a skilled account management and business development professional to manage relationships with their existing customers as well as supporting the development of business with new customers.
About the role
In this role, you will work closely with your accounts, providing advice and direction to achieve maximum benefits and cost savings from their partnership. You will also ensure they are maximising the relationship by adhering to the agreed strategy, guidelines and promotional initiatives via training and supporting with systems and processes. You will build strong working relationships with your accounts to maximise overall satisfaction of their partnership with the business.
About the person
We would love to hear from you if you have experience in a retail or wholesale account facing Business Development or National Account Management role where you will have a proven track record of building effective relationships that have delivered growth and profit. Ideally you will have a good understanding of the functionality of buying groups and knowledge of (from either a supplier or wholesale background) the UK market covering Retail and Wholesale.

Salary would be in the range of £45-55,000 per annum (dep. on experience), company car or car allowance and other great benefits.
