Embed an enterprise-grade Target Operating Model that modernises a global portfolio-construction engine—spanning Holistic Portfolios and their underlying Liquid Credit, Real Assets, Derivatives and Fixed-Income sleeves—while future-proofing the platform for EMIR-REFIT, ISSB and imminent T+1 settlement.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Front-to-Back TOM Blueprint end-to-end capabilities, processes, data flows and location strategy.
- Deliver TOGAF-calibre artefacts that translate seamlessly into agile epics.
- Reg-Change Readiness: Lead gap-to-green assessments for EMIR-REFIT, ISSB and other conduct regimes. Quantify materiality, define control frameworks and embed reporting KPIs.
- Portfolio-Construction Uplift: Write functional specs and user stories for optimisation analytics, sleeve hedging and risk overlays. Orchestrate buy-vs-build vendor analysis.
- C-Suite Challenge: Operate as the conduit between Investment, Technology and Risk leadership. Articulate trade-offs, defend the strategic north-star and secure executive sign-off.
- Delivery Governance: Stand-up a Design Authority, set stage-gate criteria and align milestones, funding and resource models across multiple workstreams.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10-plus years architecting front-office-to-custody operating models in tier-1 asset-managers or global custodians.
- Expertise in capability mapping, value-stream design and business case creation; TOGAF, BIZBOK or equivalent accreditation strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership of multi-asset change initiatives (credit, rates, listed/OTC derivatives, ESG) with tangible P&L or regulatory outcomes.
- Gravitas to influence CxO stakeholders—able to distil complexity into crisp, risk-aware narratives and defend recommendations under scrutiny.
- Fluent in agile/hybrid delivery, with a track-record converting conceptual designs into backlog items and MVPs.
- MBA, CFA, CA(SA) or comparable financial qualification advantageous.
