They are now looking for an experienced Product Development Manager to lead their development team and contribute to the successful delivery of new product launches and long-term profitability.
The Role
As the Product Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading the development and implementation of new products, processes, and equipment, ensuring smooth transitions from concept to launch. You’ll manage the process blueprint across multiple sites, driving excellence. You will also lead the implementation of the Operational Excellence Programme across all sites, ensuring all people, processes, and plant aspects are covered with ongoing reviews and continuous improvements.
You’ll also be responsible for managing trial critical paths, ensuring all necessary resources are in place, and working closely with both internal teams and external customers. Leading a dedicated team, you’ll ensure that all product launches are delivered on time, to budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Furthermore, you’ll drive innovation, utilising your expertise to continually improve processes and ensure that the business remains at the cutting edge of the industry.
The Person
You are an inspirational leader with significant experience in process development within the food manufacturing industry. You’ll have a deep knowledge of product development as well as experience managing teams and driving results. A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Process Engineering is required, alongside a passion for food quality and innovation. You’ll have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
