Salary: Up to £170,000 + Car Allowance + 30% Bonus, Pension, Healthcare, Life Insurance & Holiday
Our client is a global consumer goods powerhouse, recognised for its supply chain excellence, high-impact brands, and collaborative culture. As they continue to evolve and invest in operational transformation, they’re looking for a Supply Chain Director – UK & IRE to lead customer collaboration strategy and execution across the region. This high-impact Director-level role sits just one step removed from the board and acts as the single point of contact for all customer supply chain interactions — driving strategic partnerships, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering world-class service, cost, and cash outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop supply chain collaboration strategies across the UK & Ireland
- Act as the primary interface for all customer-facing supply chain activities
- Drive the Joint Business Planning (JBP) agenda with strategic retail and B2B customers
- Own and optimise S&OP, customer service, and order management processes
- Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy, inventory management, and fulfilment
- Lead demand planning and ensure robust alignment between commercial and supply chain teams
- Build and inspire a high-performing team (Direct/Indirect, 20+ employees)
- Champion cross-functional collaboration and embed a culture of operational excellence
- Deliver service, cost, and cash efficiency goals at market level
- Implement supply chain savings initiatives and scalable best practices
- Translate supply chain insights into business strategy and decision-making
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading end-to-end supply chain collaboration at a senior level in the UK/IRE (FMCG experience food, drink, personal care etc is essential)
- Strong background in IBP/S&OP, customer service, order management, and demand planning
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills – able to lead at C-suite level
- Commercially astute with a deep understanding of supply chain cost drivers and efficiencies
- Confident using ERP systems, planning tools, and data-driven reporting
- Track record of team leadership, process improvement, and transformation delivery
