The Management Recruitment Group is seeking an Interim Major Projects Manager for a Public Sector Estate in East Sussex.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement major capital building projects across a large property portfolio
  • Ensure major capital construction projects are delivered on time and budget
  • Work collaboratively with members of the estates management team
  • Identify, report and manage risks on future construction schemes in delivery of this organisation's estates strategy
  • Ensure health and safety and statutory compliance is adhered
  • Management of expenditure and budgets
  • Management of external contractors, design teams and consultancies
  • Deliver a broad range of capital projects including refurbishments, adaptations, renovations, new-build, expansions

Candidate Requirements

  • NEBOSH or other health and safety qualification
  • RICS, CIOB or working towards
  • Proven experience in an estates management function
  • Proven experience delivering capital construction projects ideally within a public sector/client-side environment
  • Able to start at short notice
  • Willing to travel to site as required
