The Management Recruitment Group is seeking an Interim Major Projects Manager for a Public Sector Estate in East Sussex.
Accountabilities
- Develop and implement major capital building projects across a large property portfolio
- Ensure major capital construction projects are delivered on time and budget
- Work collaboratively with members of the estates management team
- Identify, report and manage risks on future construction schemes in delivery of this organisation's estates strategy
- Ensure health and safety and statutory compliance is adhered
- Management of expenditure and budgets
- Management of external contractors, design teams and consultancies
- Deliver a broad range of capital projects including refurbishments, adaptations, renovations, new-build, expansions
Candidate Requirements
- NEBOSH or other health and safety qualification
- RICS, CIOB or working towards
- Proven experience in an estates management function
- Proven experience delivering capital construction projects ideally within a public sector/client-side environment
- Able to start at short notice
- Willing to travel to site as required
