We are looking for an experienced Delphi Consultant to join our team and support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Delphi-based applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Delphi (especially versions like Delphi 7, XE, or later), a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, and experience integrating legacy systems with modern architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Delphi.
  • Analyze legacy Delphi code and recommend enhancements or modernization strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and project managers.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Delphi-based applications.
  • Migrate and integrate Delphi systems with .NET, web APIs, or other modern platforms as needed.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for systems and procedures.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior developers if applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Delphi (Object Pascal) development.
  • Familiarity with Delphi versions 7/10/12/XE, or later.
  • Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
  • Good understanding of OOP, software development life cycle (SDLC), and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Experience integrating Delphi applications with web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Ability to understand and work with legacy code.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
