The Role:
- Lead a team of talented investment managers, delivering outstanding discretionary investment management services to HNW clients.
- Combine hands-on client management with strategic leadership, ensuring exceptional client service and strong investment performance.
- Review and refine the firm’s wealth management proposition, leveraging synergies across the group’s diverse business areas to enhance growth and client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of investment managers to deliver superior client service and investment results.
- Actively manage a portfolio of HNW clients, maintaining strong, long-term relationships built on trust and performance.
- Review and, if necessary, reshape the wealth management proposition to ensure it remains competitive and client-focused.
- Drive the growth of the business, identifying opportunities to expand market share and leverage group synergies.
- Oversee the investment management process ensuring excellent performance for clients, with the option to be actively involved in the investment process or focus purely on managing clients, leadership & growth depending on your preference.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a proven track record of success in client management and team leadership.
Candidate Profile:
- Currently a Team Head, Office Head or Head of Wealth / Investment Management at a wealth management firm, looking to step up into a senior leadership role.
- Actively managing HNW clients with a loyal client base built over many years (essential).
- Proven track record of delivering growth and exceptional client service.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to review and refine business propositions.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating high-performing teams.
