As an IT & Business Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. Your primary duties include responding to queries, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, and determining and implementing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users through phone, email, chat, or in-person interactions.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights with precision and attention to detail.
  • Implement solutions to address technical issues.
  • Collaborate closely with support team members to implement and support projects.
  • Set up desks, including hardware and software installation.
  • Manage meeting room hardware and software for excellent communications.
  • Support business support functions such as warehousing, payroll, purchasing and facilities.
  • Manage and audit peripherals and related equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Technician with strong Windows operating systems knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic programs and problem-solving techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to solve problems in business support as they arise.
  • Ability to provide in-person support and handle physical tasks such as setting up desks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in IT support or relevant field.
  • Experience with various operating systems and software applications.
  • Experience of SharePoint administration.
  • Knowledge of network and system administration.
