We’re hiring for an experienced Android Developer to join a cutting-edge mobile development team on a 6-month contract. You’ll be part of a collaborative and inclusive digital environment, building native Android apps that reach thousands of users.

  • Day Rate: £300–£430/day
  • IR35: Inside IR35
  • Location: Leeds – Hybrid (2 days onsite/week)
  • Start: Immediate
  • Duration: 6 months

Tech Stack: Kotlin, Android SDK, RESTful APIs, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, MVVM, Clean Architecture, CI/CD, Git, CircleCI, Espresso, Google Play deployment experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Android mobile apps with engaging user experiences.
  • Code native mobile interfaces using modern Android tools and frameworks.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and design of new and existing features.
  • Implement best practices in unit and UI testing, automation, and CI/CD.
  • Collaborate with designers and product stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality code and maintain deployment pipelines.
  • Advise on native patterns and technical feasibility during early design stages.
  • Continuously improve app performance, maintainability, and scalability.

You Should Have:

  • Strong hands-on experience developing Android apps in Kotlin.
  • Proven history of publishing apps to Google Play.
  • Excellent knowledge of modern Android components, testing, and architecture.
  • Practical experience with version control, CI/CD, and UI automation tools.
