We’re hiring for an experienced Android Developer to join a cutting-edge mobile development team on a 6-month contract. You’ll be part of a collaborative and inclusive digital environment, building native Android apps that reach thousands of users.
- Day Rate: £300–£430/day
- IR35: Inside IR35
- Location: Leeds – Hybrid (2 days onsite/week)
- Start: Immediate
- Duration: 6 months
Tech Stack: Kotlin, Android SDK, RESTful APIs, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, MVVM, Clean Architecture, CI/CD, Git, CircleCI, Espresso, Google Play deployment experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Android mobile apps with engaging user experiences.
- Code native mobile interfaces using modern Android tools and frameworks.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and design of new and existing features.
- Implement best practices in unit and UI testing, automation, and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with designers and product stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Support the delivery of high-quality code and maintain deployment pipelines.
- Advise on native patterns and technical feasibility during early design stages.
- Continuously improve app performance, maintainability, and scalability.
You Should Have:
