At E.ON we are leading the energy transition towards NET ZERO. Smart Metering is the key first step to customers understanding their energy usage. As a Dual Fuel Meter Technician, you will be installing Smart Meters in our customers' homes. As the energy transition gathers pace there will be the opportunity to be trained in installing solutions such as Air Source Heat Pumps. When you first start, you’ll undertake a training programme with a mix of classes at one of our first-class training facilities and working hands on in the field with a mentor as you work your way towards becoming qualified in gas and electric metering. A plumbing or electrical background would be considered depending upon qualification and experience. Proof will be required to progress your application. * A commitment to making the most of our training and gaining new qualifications. * A passion for providing excellent customer service. * Plenty of drive and enthusiasm and a desire to help create a smart future. * Flexible approach to working hours and flexible approach to working area especially when undertaking your SMART Meter upskilling journey when you will be required to attend training at a first-class training facility. * A full valid UK/EU driving licence (preferably clean but with a maximum of 6 points).
