Our client, a leading brand in the hospitality sector, is seeking an experienced POS Solutions Engineer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for ongoing 6-month extensions. This role is offered outside IR35 on a negotiable day rate basis and requires 2-3 days per week onsite at their London office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert support across the restaurant POS estate, primarily focusing on Simphony and/or Micros systems.
- Contribute to both ongoing Micros updates and Simphony enhancements as part of a wider F&B Transformation Program.
- Take full ownership of configuration changes, including testing, validation, and deployment across multiple restaurant locations.
- Support continuous improvements to POS system functionality, working closely with business and technical teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with hospitality operations and evolving business requirements.
- Provide proactive and responsive support for POS issues, troubleshooting, and system optimizations.
Key Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with Simphony and/or Micros POS platforms within the hospitality or restaurant sector.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality and POS landscape, industry best practices, and operational challenges.
- Ability to own, implement, and manage configuration changes with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting POS changes within larger business transformation or modernization programs is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
