Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Key Account Manager to help them deliver exceptional service and grow strategic client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and Implement Key Account Action Plans
  • Lead the creation and delivery of tailored client strategies.
  • Conduct both virtual and in-person client appointments – travel is required.
  • Deliver effective product training.
  • Confidently make executive-level decisions that benefit both the client and the business.
  • Resolve client challenges proactively and effectively.
  • Ensure all client actions and communications are completed and logged with Sales Support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on key projects, including onboarding new clients and managing large orders.
  • Manage smooth and professional client handovers.

Maintain Relationships with Key Decision Makers

  • Schedule and deliver regular quality interactions with key decision makers.
  • Build trust and long-term partnerships at a senior and corporate level.
  • Present confidently and professionally in all client settings.

Maintain and Increase Client Revenue & Margin

  • Follow up on quotes and drive conversion.
  • Proactively make outbound calls and appointments to:
  • Expand existing revenue and margin streams through new products.
  • Implement price increases.
  • Recommend product switch outs.
  • Identify and action value-add opportunities for clients.
  • Promote relevant product offers and campaigns to generate awareness and uplift.

Implement Strategies to Grow Sales

  • Consistently meet or exceed KPAs and sales targets.
  • Strategically identify opportunities to grow product category performance.

Resolve Client Challenges

  • Detect early signs of risk and implement fast, effective action plans to retain client confidence and satisfaction.

  • IT literate – comfortable with CRM systems, data management, and reporting. HubSpot experience would be beneficial.
  • Organised and proactive – stays on top of deadlines, appointments, and opportunities.
  • Willing to travel – must be able to attend client sites across the UK as needed.
