An Evesham based food manufacturer are looking to recruit an experienced multi skilled Maintenance Engineer for their modern production facility. As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.

Rotating 3 Shift System (no nights!):

  • 1 = Mon to Fri 6am – 3pm
  • 2 = Mon to Fri 10am – 7pm
  • 3 = Tues – Sat 8am – 5pm

This is a great opportunity to work in a modern food manufacturer that is seeing significant investment being made across multiple sites in the group with the aim of becoming number one in their sector.

Salary cΒ£40-Β£55k dependent on experience. + Company benefits

Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:

  • Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
  • Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
  • Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
  • Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
  • Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements

Experience and skills required:

  • Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or BTEC Level 3 or higher (elec quals required)
  • Multi skilled, mechanical and electrical skills / experience
  • Apprenticeship trained
  • Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
  • FMCG / Food manufacturing experience would be desired, but not essential
