Our client is looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect to join them on a 6 month contract, as they embark on a large-scale transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity to help redefine and modernise the organisation’s IT and architecture landscape. As the business transitions from a traditional monolithic architecture to a modern, agile, and scalable technology estate, you will play a central role in shaping the future-state architecture. Your expertise will guide strategic decisions and ensure alignment across systems, platforms, and digital technologies. This is a pivotal role for a confident, forward-thinking architect who thrives on delivering strategic impact across enterprise environments. The successful candidate will need to have worked within Insurance or Financial services previously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of enterprise-wide architecture in support of the transformation strategy.
  • Coordinate and provide leadership to a team of Enterprise Architects.
  • Act as a key liaison between technology and the business, engaging with senior stakeholders and Programme Managers.
  • Proactively address architectural challenges and risks as they arise.
  • Chair and contribute to steering groups, ensuring alignment of technology direction with business goals.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working as a Senior/Lead Enterprise Architect.
  • Broad technology background with a strong understanding of how systems and digital solutions integrate and interact.
  • Proven experience leading architecture teams within complex transformation programmes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Please note this role has been deemed inside IR35 and you will need to work through an umbrella company if successful. The role can be based remotely but there will be a need to go into the office for meetings & workshops.
