As a Store Performance Planner, you play a critical role in proactively supporting our Main Chain Food Store Estate for all long-term forecasting and changes to store demand. A role in the Store Performance Team involves stores being at the heart of what we do; working collaboratively with Store Operations, Supply Chain, SRD, and Category teams. You will actively identify opportunities to improve store sales, availability, and waste to drive positive volume and sales growth, whilst being able to quickly root cause and identify solutions to any issues. This is an exciting role that gives you the opportunity to work alongside many functions of the business to enhance store performance.

To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you’ll do

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Play your part in the delivery of the Food Group Sales, Availability and Waste targets.
  • Accountability for proactively driving the performance in stores across Workstreams and Categories.
  • Actively identify opportunities to improve sales, availability and reduce waste to drive positive business performance.
  • Deliver great forecasting, such as for local events, recapture and deflection and disruption to trade.
  • Co-ordinate store forecasting for major business events including Christmas & Easter.
  • Exploit business reporting solutions and tools available to provide periodic trend analysis on performance to drive swift decision making and actions.
  • Own workstreams end to end, to support stores and drive improvement across the business.
  • Build on and establish great relationships across the business to create awareness and improve Store Performance.
