THE ROLE
Working with the HR Director, Head of Employee Relations and Diversity, and the wider HR team, this role plays a key part in employee engagement, employee relations, and organisational development. It supports British Land’s strategy by ensuring consistent and progressive HR practices aligned with our values, fostering a positive culture and enabling people to thrive.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build strong consultative relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Manage employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary processes, TUPE and settlement agreements, in alignment with ACAS and UK employment law.
- Lead or support organisational change and development projects.
- Coordinate and deliver employee engagement surveys and analyse results to develop action plans.
- Work with the wider HR team to ensure policies and processes are up to date and implemented consistently.
- Draft accurate documentation including letters, meeting scripts and ELI information.
- Collaborate on initiatives related to diversity & inclusion and social mobility.
- Support HR-led development strategies to improve organisational capability and retention.
ABOUT YOU
- Extensive experience in employee relations within a multi-site organisation.
- Strong, applied knowledge of UK employment law.
- CIPD Level 7 Qualification or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively at senior levels with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative and team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
- Adaptable, empathetic, and proactive with a solution-focused mindset.
