Job Requirement:
- Design, build, tune, install, configure, troubleshoot and administer Informatica Data Quality, EDC and Axon.
- Prior experience installing, upgrading and supporting Informatica IDQ, EDC and Axon including performing software installations, upgrades and code migrations between environments.
- Proficiency in Informatica Data Quality 10.X and Informatica EDC 10.5.X and Axon 7.3.X administration and troubleshooting and environments set-up.
- Very strong in implementation of data profiling, command line utilities, creating score cards, creating reference tables and documenting Data Quality metrics/dimensions like Accuracy, completeness, duplication, validity, consistency.
- Very strong in implementation of Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Informatica command line utilities, creating Metadata Resource, running Metadata resource, Data Discovery using Native and Spark/Blaze engine and documenting the configuration and implementing standards.
- Very strong in implementation of Axon Data Governance services, command line utilities, integration with SSO, IDQ, EDC, Service Now etc and documenting the Axon configuration (users, filters, workflow process) and best practices.
- Experience in massive data profiling and Data Domain Discovery using IDQ (Analyst Tool).
- Created Business rules in Informatica Developer and Analyst tool and integration with Informatica EDC, Axon.
- Have very good knowledge on all the data quality transformation which will be used throughout the development.
- Have knowledge on Informatica EDC, Axon best practices and concepts and implementation of DQ, EDC and Axon process.
- Worked on deploying metadata manager like extensive metadata connectors for data integration visibility, advanced search and browse of metadata catalog, data lineage and visibility into data objects, rules, transformations and reference data.
- Provide technical support and work with infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment including throughput, repository sizing, capacity planning, and maintenance.
- Good hands-on experience in Unix commands and processes.
- Should be capable of fine tuning and improving the performance of IDQ, EDC and Axon systems.
- Understanding of Informatica licenses for IDQ, EDC and Axon.
- Manage the Informatica domain and the security of the domain including domain administrative tasks. Manage & archive logs, domain objects, user permissions, and domain reports. Generate and upload node diagnostics.
- Understanding of managing infrastructure outages to make sure the business is less impacted.
- Understanding of monitoring Informatica environment, loads, server and jobs alerts, capacity planning and ongoing monitoring.
- Responsible for providing Data Quality operations support to the business in an efficient manner so that critical decisions can be made effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the end-to-end data integration environment comprised of data sources, workflows and transformations, operating systems, applications, app servers, and networks.
- Analyze and apply patches, hot fixes, upgrades, and Informatica product enhancements.
- Manage all backup, restore, disaster recovery processes and procedures for all Informatica domains and deployments of code through non-production and production environments.
- Customer focused, business driven, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong networks across the client organisation.
- Strong verbal/written communication and team building skills.
Basic/Required:
- Prior experience installing, patching and supporting Informatica IDQ, EDC and Axon release 10.5 or greater.
- Good understanding of Informatica Architecture, type of nodes, service failover, High Availability and GRID features.
- Good understanding of Informatica IDQ, EDC and Axon logs to enable issue analysis and reporting and working closely with Informatica support in resolving it.
- Expertise with installs, upgrades, configuration and maintenance of Informatica components including Informatica services, HA, grid, Data quality, Power Exchange, Data services.
- Ongoing optimization and tuning of Informatica objects and environment, have hands-on expertise working with Informatica support for patches (Hot Fix) and Emergency bug fixes (EBF's).
- 6 years' experience in Informatica Data Quality Administration.
- 3 years' experience in Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog Administration.
- 1 year' experience in Informatica Axon Administration.
- 3 years' experience with the UNIX operating system.
- 3 years' experience with the AWS platform and services (EC2, RDS, Security, Load balancing, Route-53, Jump box, S3, etc.).
- 3 years' experience UNIX scripting (UNIX Shell or Perl).
- 5 years' experience with SQL on Oracle and MS SQL Server.
- Experience of working across multiple stakeholder levels in agile, collaborative ways of working.
- Experience writing technical documents in clear language, such as Solution Architecture documents and Run books.
