Linkster are currently recruiting for a leading brick manufacturer located in the Swadlincote area. This company is dedicated to providing high-quality house building products and is now looking to add Remedial Repair Technicians to their team.
The role is primarily a day shift position, working from 06:00 to 14:00 when off site and 08:00-16:30 when on site, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities Remedial Repair Technician:
- You would work with some of the UK’s leading house builders and building companies.
- Work will mostly be brick tinting and brick repair but may also include mortar repointing, mortar tinting, brick and stone cleaning, and brick slip system repairs.
- You will work on sites all across the UK so will be expected to stay away with full expenses provided, and fully expensed company vehicle.
- A fully expensed company vehicle is provided, as is ongoing skills training, career growth and clear career progression for the right candidates.
- As and when required, you will be based at the Swadlincote manufacturing site.
Experience required Remedial Repair Technician:
- Either tiling or some brickwork knowledge would be an advantage.
- You must enjoy driving as we work nationwide and you must be happy with (fully expensed) nights away from home as required.
- Due to our insurance restriction on our vehicles we cannot accept anyone under 25.
- Brick remedial training will be provided.
Benefits:
- The salary for this position is negotiable depending on experience (£15 + per hour), with opportunities for overtime paid at rates of 1.33x, 1.5x, and 2.0x.
- Permanent.
