SEN Nanny/Manny in Fulham, SW6. A fantastic part-time opportunity to support an engaging, happy boy of 10 who has a rare chromosome disorder. £25,800.00 Gross Per Annum / £20.00 gross per hour. Nearest Tube/Station: Fulham Broadway or Imperial Wharf Wage/Salary: £25,800.00 Gross Per Annum / £20.00 Gross Per hour Driver Essential? No Essential: Nanny/Manny with SEN experience – either personal or professional. Must be comfortable assisting with personal care Desirable: Makaton knowledge would be preferable. Experience in feeding difficulties. Start Date: Beginning of Jan 2025 Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm. In addition to these regular hours, you will receive an additional 10 floating hours per month. These floating hours can be used for earlier starts, evening babysitting, or occasional weekend work, as mutually agreed upon. There are also opportunities for additional hours during school holidays. He enjoys a variety of activities such as soft play, swimming, attending the theatre, going for walks, and visiting funfairs. Louie is a fan of shows like Hey Duggee and Peppa Pig, as well as animated films. He has two younger brothers, Elliott (7) and Timmy (4), who are both bright and creative. Elliott is passionate about mathematics and word searches, while Timmy has a keen interest in trains and enjoys spending time at local playgrounds. The family enjoys outdoor adventures together, often going on bike rides. Louie was born with a rare chromosome disorder, which means he is non-verbal and has severe learning difficulties. He requires assistance with eating (pureed food only), drinking, and all aspects of personal care. Despite his challenges, Louie communicates effectively using facial expressions, Makaton, and a communication book. Although he is mobile, he uses a specialist buggy for longer outings. Louie is smaller than his peers and sometimes experiences sensory processing issues, which can lead to behaviors like chewing, stimming, or rocking. He is a warm, engaging child with a lot of love to share. Overview of role: This role involves joining a dynamic, loving family to provide support as an SEN Nanny/Manny. Louie’s mother is a full-time stay-at-home mum, and the role requires a collaborative approach to managing the busy household and caring for the children. The primary focus will be on supporting Louie, but you will also assist with his siblings and their activities, especially during after-school hours. Louie returns home at 4:00 pm, and his siblings attend a school just a 6-minute walk away.
