With a well-earned reputation for thought leadership, best practice and continuous professional development as well as for providing core support and advisory services to their members, you will be key to championing and coaching their member agencies on several professional development programmes and ensuring their members understand the value of their membership services.
The association has groups and communities that members can join to share experiences, benefit from the knowledge of others and help create new initiatives to benefit the industry. In this role you will visit member agencies each year to ensure their understanding of all the benefits of membership, how to access them and how to get the best value from their membership subscription. Your mission is to help the member agencies thrive.
All member companies are required to provide a strategic development plan and evaluation each year to demonstrate how their learning and development programmes support their business goals and challenges. You will be key in supporting the members in demonstrating how outstanding L&D, cultural and employee initiatives have contributed to them achieving their business goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coaching members on the learning and development programmes available
- Conducting accreditation reviews each year
- Encouraging, informing and mentoring members on how to submit entry for accreditation(s) and supporting them through the assessment process
- Running best practice webinars
- Running membership inductions for new agencies and refreshers for existing members
- Being the authority on industry trends relating to learning & development and creating thought leadership on relevant topics
The successful candidate will have previously worked in HR, Talent or L&D in an advertising, media or marketing agency committed to professional development and best practice. Previous exposure to industry standards and accreditation processes is hugely desirable.
