Job Responsibility:
- Responsibility for the day-to-day management of content across your allocated features.
- Content generation: responsible for conducting a research campaign and analysis of key subject areas and trends.
- Accountable for editorial speaker recruitment across allocated features.
- Bett is committed to producing an inclusive and representative content agenda for our visitors, and your programmes and speaker recruitment should support and reflect this.
- Content development: evolution of themes, topics and formats designed to deliver new audience segments to Bett.
- Collaboration with the Sales team to maximise revenue from each content feature whilst ensuring that the quality of the content is delivered to the highest standard.
- Collaboration with the Marketing team to deliver buyer side visitors by leveraging strong speaker line ups with associated content marketing which may include video, written and social media-based campaigns.
- Supporting Bett’s 365 Digital Content Campaign: Working with other content team members to commission new pieces of editorial content for newsletters, Bett’s community hub, and social media.
- Project management: working with the show project teams including marketing, sales and operations to deliver to deadline and within budget.
- Onsite delivery: managing onsite execution of content features to exceptional standards of customer service.
- Speaker logistics support: Including, but not limited to, sending out speaker instructions, collecting speaker assets, updating speaker profiles and agendas on the Bett website.
Skills Required:
- Established experience of conference production.
- Experience within the technology or education sectors beneficial, but not required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to clearly and succinctly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
- A high level of commercial awareness and be target and deadline driven.
- Strongly results-focused, able to clearly demonstrate success via proven metrics.
- Customer-oriented, taking pride in exceeding customer expectations.
- Proven relationship skills – able to build and develop good working relationships across the business to facilitate the accomplishment of goals, leverage learning and share best practice.
