A leading PE backed professional services business on a significant buy and build programme requires a Senior Manager of Integration to plan, execute, and manage all aspects of the integration of newly acquired businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work pre-deal with the M&A team to develop integration and value creation plans
  • Assist the M&A team with due diligence to aid in the prompt integration of businesses, post-acquisition
  • Set and ensure the successful delivery of a clear integration plan for all acquisitions
  • Ensure the prompt realisation of synergies and cost efficiencies, and assist in the development of operational plans for newly acquired businesses
  • Act as intermediary between the M&A function and departmental/operational heads of department
  • Implement robust integration controls, systems, and processes to ensure businesses are effectively, and efficiently, integrated
  • Regular reporting and analysis to senior management and the PE sponsor
  • The creation of integration playbooks for future integration projects
  • Work closely with the M&A team at all stages of the acquisition process to ensure processes are adhered to, and to allow for a “softer landing” of acquired businesses
  • Set, manage, and regularly report on integration budgets
  • Project manage departmental heads / PMO teams to ensure the success of operational integrations
  • Act as point of contact to vendors and the senior management function of acquired businesses
  • Value creation planning on an ongoing basis

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience planning and driving all aspects of integrations across all functions and departments
  • Highly numerate with the ability to prepare and manage budgets
  • Proven ability to create value and realise synergies via both cost and revenue/growth levers
  • The EQ and communication skills to drive projects teams and stakeholders and to hold them to account
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven “hands on” integration experience – Not just directing projects
