About the Role
As Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping bids that win business and strengthen client relationships. Working closely with internal stakeholders across sales, pre-sales, and technical teams, you’ll take ownership of the full bid lifecycle – from opportunity qualification through to final submission.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end bid process across commercial and complex public sector tenders
- Write high-quality, tailored bid content that clearly communicates the organisation’s value proposition
- Coordinate internal contributors to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submissions
- Utilise AI-powered tools and platforms to enhance the quality, consistency, and efficiency of bids
- Develop and maintain a library of reusable content, case studies, and bid collateral
- Proactively monitor public sector portals for new opportunities
- Support framework registrations, renewals, and pre-qualification processes
- Drive improvements in bid quality and process efficiency, playing a key role in the ongoing development of the function
About You
- A proven track record in bid management and bid writing, ideally within a technology, IT, or B2B solutions environment
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive, customer-focused responses
- Confident using modern tools (including AI) to streamline and enhance the bid writing process
- Highly organised with strong project management skills – able to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities
- Strong communicator and team player, comfortable working with diverse stakeholders across the business
- Knowledge of public sector procurement and tender portals (e.g. CCS, G-Cloud) is advantageous
- Proactive, positive, and driven to succeed – with a desire to make a real impact
