We have a fantastic, long term opportunity outside IR35 for an EC&I Commissioning Engineer to work with a Nuclear Consultancy who specialise in delivering bespoke design and manufacturing solutions to clients in highly regulated sectors. The role requires someone with current SC Clearance. This would suit an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in the Nuclear and/or Defence sectors. Ideal candidates will be qualified in electrical inspection, testing, and installation, with a hands-on approach and the ability to work on complex engineering projects. This is perfect for someone seeking a long-term contract opportunity within a high-assurance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform commissioning activities for electrical systems in line with project specifications
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout commissioning processes
  • Complete testing, inspection, and documentation in accordance with industry regulations
  • Liaise with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues
  • Support ongoing project delivery with hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving

In return you will receive a rate of £60/hr ltd for up to 50 hours a week on days Monday - Friday.
