You’ll work closely with developers, service managers, and external technology partners to deliver highly available, secure, and resilient platforms and services. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who can balance day‑to‑day operational demands with longer‑term improvement and optimization. You’ll maintain monitoring, support incident and request resolution, and help to shape best practices for deployment and operational support.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and monitor environments, pipelines, and alerts across platforms.
  • Support investigation and resolution of incidents and requests across digital platforms and environments.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize deployment pipelines across environments.
  • Participate in the agile process, working closely with development teams to review, design, and implement infrastructure decisions.
  • Maintain documentation for platforms, services, and pipelines.
  • Audit activities to ensure compliance with security policies (including PCI DSS, GDPR, and PII).
  • Perform root‑cause analysis and implement improvements to prevent incidents and optimize performance.
  • Maintain and evolve monitoring platforms, including synthetic and application monitoring, responding to alerts and identifying bottlenecks.
  • Assist in deployment and maintenance of Machine Learning platforms and services.
  • Support service transition, providing documentation, training, and handover for services post go‑live.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), deploying highly available and resilient applications.
  • Expertise with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Skilled in Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Pulumi, ARM, or Terraform, and proficiency in PowerShell, YAML, Python, or TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience supporting web applications.
  • Experience working with synthetic and application monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace and Catchpoint.
  • Understanding of .NET applications and experience making small code changes when required.
  • Knowledge of Akamai or similar CDNs, perimeter security, and OWASP security guidelines.
  • Strong networking experience across DNS, routing, load balancers, and firewalls.
  • Skilled with enterprise‑level deployments across microservices and multi‑server environments.
  • Experience with MLOps platforms (ideally Azure), database maintenance, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or ISO27001.
  • Ability to review CVs and participate in the recruitment process.
  • Azure certification to Architecture or DevOps Solutions level (or equivalent experience) is highly desirable.
