A UK retailer, specialising in music, books and tech are looking for a well-seasoned Book Buyer to join them in their London based in their central London Head Office. You must be an experienced Book Buyer, able to demonstrate your expertise in buying trends across multiple categories from manga to fiction. You will be a specialist in this area and be up to date on book/reading trends and be able to think outside the box and get creative regarding the London retail space.
Daily priorities will include:
- Manage and develop publisher and supplier relationships
- Liaise closely with finance and revise book budgets
- Curate and develop a new experience for customers and book readers
You will ideally need to:
- Have a passion for all things literature
- Have extensive Book Buying experience and knowledge
- Strong relationships with top publishers
- Experience buying for multiple locations with large scale budgets
- Be an expert on buying trends across multiple categories
- Be creative to deliver ideas and make the customers love our book offerings
You will be based on site 5 days a week in their central London office.
