This is an excellent opportunity for someone in trade to get their education career started. Dovetail & Slate are working with a further education college in the Lake District who are on the lookout for an Electrical Installation Assessor. Full training can be provided for someone coming off the tools and into education.

You will be enrolled in an Assessors Award course and work towards becoming a fully qualified Assessor whilst working as an Assessor. In this role, you will carry out site visits with Electrical apprentices and gather evidence towards their NVQ portfolios. During these visits, you will report back to the college on areas of improvement for the apprentices. You will build NVQ portfolios and assist learners in preparation for their EPA's (End Point Assessments).

Requirements:

  • A full driving license
  • Assessors Award (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 3 years industry experience

What You Get:

  • A salary of up to £30,000
  • Relocation package up to £2,500 (if applicable)
  • Able to apply for Government FE scheme (up to £6,000) - not directly from the college
  • 29 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday + 2 discretionary days
