About our Client:
My client is an innovative Digital Marketing Agency and you will be working on a premium global entertainment brand celebrated for its innovative, factual, and irresistibly fun content. With a loyal audience that spans continents, our client prides itself on crafting stories that educate, entertain, and spark curiosity. The content lives across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat—where millions tune in to learn something new every day. Now, we’re looking for a dynamic Social Media Account Manager to help drive our social presence to the next level.
The Role:
As our Social Media Account Manager, you’ll be the engine behind our social strategy and execution. You’ll ensure that our content performs at its peak across platforms, leading on ideation, publishing, optimisation, and performance reporting. With a strong understanding of how each platform works and what audiences respond to, you’ll be responsible for growing engagement, reach, and overall impact. You’ll work closely with creative, editorial, and data teams to bring stories to life in the most compelling way possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Best Practice: Develop and maintain platform-specific strategies that align with brand goals and audience preferences. Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and content trends to inform our approach. Implement best practices for content formats, timing, and copy across each platform. Presenting ideas and best practices to clients through delivering presentations to small and large groups.
- Content Ideation & Planning: Collaborate with internal teams: producers, designers, and editorial teams to ensure visibility of the client’s roadmap and brainstorm and brief content ideas tailored for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and emerging platforms to meet the client’s needs. Translate wider campaign goals into engaging social-first executions. Collaborate with teams internally on editorial calendars, roadmaps, and to ensure timely, accurate publishing.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor performance metrics across platforms (views, engagement, watch time, etc.) and deliver regular reports with actionable insights. Analyse data to inform future content and iterate on performance. Track competitor performance and social trends to benchmark and innovate.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years managing social accounts in media, entertainment, or digital-first environments.
- Consultative style, able to advise and influence clients on best practices.
- The ability to present to small groups and also to large numbers.
- Deep platform knowledge—especially YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat.
- Proven track record in growing engaged audiences and delivering measurable results.
- Strong understanding of analytics tools (YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics, Instagram Insights, etc.).
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for visual storytelling and viral formats.
- Excellent account management, project management and communication skills.
